Mandarin
Lesson

About our Mandarin Lesson:

In many families, a common challenge is that parents communicate in Mandarin, while children respond in English. Interactions among friends are predominantly in English. Over time, children may lose the ability to express themselves in Mandarin. This course focuses on conversational teaching, with practical exercises, to enhance children's ability to express themselves in Mandarin in daily life.

Mandarin Speaking (Beginner):

The age of 0-6 is a crucial period for language acquisition. Although children can speak Mandarin at school and with friends, they may be hesitant to use it at home, often preferring English. This course focuses on self-introduction, describing family, friends, and classmates. Various activities such as children's songs, tongue twisters, and riddles are incorporated to enhance the child's interest in language.

Duration: 1 hour

*The beginner course consists of 12 lessons. The 12th lesson includes an assessment, and those who meet the criteria can advance to the next level.

Mandarin Speaking (Intermediate):

In this class, children will engage with Mandarin/Chinese books, movies, music, and TV shows. Through interactive questioning, we aim to enhance the child's understanding and curiosity about daily life while delving into poetry, songs, and classical Chinese literature to deepen their cultural knowledge and strengthen language proficiency.

Duration: 1 hour

*The intermediate course consists of 12 lessons. The 12th lesson includes an assessment, and those who meet the criteria can advance to the next level.

Mandarin Speaking (Advanced):

In this class, students will delve into oral vocabulary types (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.) to expose them to more words and sentence structures. The goal is to enhance the number and complexity of spoken sentences, introducing them to intricate components within sentences. Through this, we aim to build comprehensive language organizational skills, allowing students to independently grasp Chinese expression methods, embodying the principle "Learn with interest, excel in learning, and excel in life."

Duration: 1.5 hours

*The advanced course consists of 10 lessons. The 10th lesson includes an assessment, and those who meet the criteria can proceed to higher-level Mandarin courses.
