Our Richmond Master Music Classes:
This course is designed for music enthusiasts, offering instruction in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocals. Taught by professional instructors, it is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners. Students will systematically learn music theory, performance techniques, and stage presence. Personalized guidance will be provided to help students progress quickly in their musical journey, with opportunities to participate in performances and graded exams.

Our music instructors each have extensive experience in both music education and live performance. With many years of teaching under their belts, they have developed a strong foundation in their respective instruments, along with unique teaching methods tailored to meet individual student needs. Beyond simply teaching technique, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing students' overall musicality and expressive abilities. Additionally, with years of experience performing on stage, whether as solo artists or in collaborative ensembles, they are able to provide invaluable practical insights that help students bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, inspiring them to unlock their full musical potential.

Yoshiyuki Yuen
Drum Teacher
Yoshiyuki "Yuki" Yuen [Drums] (Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Japanese)

A Visual-Rock Drummer and music instructor with over 14 years of teaching experience. Yoshiyuki began his music career in the 2010s and quickly rose to popularity in the visual-rock scene in Japan and Hong Kong with his band ParanoiD. In 2014, Yoshiyuki studied at the Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music, Osaka.
During his time as a drummer, Yoshiyuki performed in numerous events in Asia such as Ikebukuro Cyber, Holiday Shinjuku, ACGHK, Avenue of Stars, Asiaworld-Expo. In 2013, Yoshiyuki contributed to the release of ParanoiD’s EP album <FIGHTING>. Furthermore he has made notable local television and movie appearances such as featuring in Live in Flames (2012), The Voice 3 (2011) TVB, The Felix Show (2017) Teledifusão de Macau. Yoshiyuki along with ParanoiD in 2010 was awarded first place in Warehouse Teen Power and nominated best Sennheiser sound, first in Caritas Live Voice, and second place in YAMAHA Asian Beat. Yoshiyuki continued his band activities until 2023 when he relocated to Vancouver.
As a music instructor, Yoshiyuki is knowledgeable in both east and western genres of pop, rock, heavy-metal, and electronic in which he is able to tailor his lessons depending on the context. His passion for teaching articulates from the fact music itself is an unique form of self expression of one’s identity. From that, he wishes to create a positive environment and a form of guidance where students are able to unlock their individual spark.
Horace Ma

Horace is specialized in teaching acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drum, and ukulele. With 15 years of teaching experience, he has a deep understanding of different musical genres such as funk, blues, rock, and acoustic.
Horace is known for his adaptive teaching style, which caters to the learning needs of students of all levels. He understands the importance of a strong foundation in music theory and helps his students build a solid understanding of musical concepts such as chords, scales, rhythm, melody, fingering skills, and picking skills.
His teaching approach is highly interactive and encourages students to participate actively in the learning process. He creates a supportive and engaging learning environment that inspires students to develop their skills and explore their creativity.

Stella Wung
Singing Teacher
Stella Wung (Cantonese, English, Mandarin)
As a devoted singer and with her over 30 years of marvelous stage experience, she has been highly praised by fellow artists. In early years, she has won numerous awards in singing competitions. Besides being a contract singer for various five and six stars hotels in Hong Kong and China, Stella also participated in numerous Super Stars music concerts and TVB music
programs as a singer. In recent years, she has established her own company providing full services for banquets and wedding planning. You will certainly enjoy having her as the master of ceremonies or the special guest singer. Furthermore, Stella provides professional vocal training for individuals and small groups. Being the advisor and honorable judge for various music competitions, then she has gained much popularity.
Leslie Cheung
Singing Teacher
Leslie Cheung (Cantonese, English, Mandarin)
Leslie Cheung Man-yee possesses extensive experience in vocal and performing arts education. He has taught at various music and educational institutions, including the Yuen Long Children’s Choir, Parkland Music, Hong Kong Outstanding Children’s Choir, Parsons Music, Lutheran School for the Deaf, Yip’s Children’s Choir, and Faust International Limited (Children’s Drama Program). In his teaching, Cheung aims to inspire students’ musical potential and build their confidence, emphasizing the integration of vocal technique with stage expression. He is dedicated to promoting vocal and popular singing arts.
Cheung studied under Ms. Rosaline Pi and Mr. Jimmy Chan Foon Sheung. He has performed in numerous concerts, presenting works such as Beethoven’s Ich Liebe Dich, Haydn’s His Native Worth (from The Creation), and Handel’s Every Valley Shall Be Exalted (from Messiah). He has also appeared as the tenor soloist in Mozart’s Requiem and Bruckner’s Requiem.
In addition to vocal performance, Cheung has a strong passion for theatre and has participated in over fifty operas, musicals, and stage productions.
As a founding member of the vocal ensemble Vox Antiqua, Cheung continues to pursue a balance between performance and teaching, devoting himself to promoting the art of singing and inspiring the next generation of musical talents.
Paul Leung
Drum Teacher
Paul Leung has over 20 years of experience teaching drums and an extensive background performing at large-scale concerts. He has collaborated with numerous well-known singers, enriching his musical expertise. Paul's teaching style emphasizes a strong foundation in technique combined with musical expression, helping students achieve significant progress in their drumming skills.
